Kyran Bracken MBE is an acclaimed sportsman, successful businessman and popular television personality. During his highly successful rugby career, he overcame a career threatening back injury and went on to win 51 caps for England and won the rugby world cup in 2003. He was renowned for his skill set on the pitch, calmness and leadership ability. He was a longstanding captain for his club and also has captained England.
A talented man who’s able to turn his hand to variety of things, Kyran won ITV1’s celebrity competition ‘Dancing On Ice’. In the semi-final he received the highest score in the history of the show at the time. Not wanting to waste his talent and passion for skating he has set up an ice skating business and undertakes UK tours and is exploring opportunities abroad. Kyran launched his first Ice Party in Jersey in 2008. This sellout summer show, at Fort Regent in St Helier, was followed by a Christmas extravaganza in Bristol. The successful shows have each become an annual event and comprise a major element of Kyran’s numerous business ventures.
Property is another passion of Kyran’s and he runs a successful property development business. Given his experience in elite sport, being a trained lawyer and knowledge of business, he’s a very strong communicator and enjoys sharing his thoughts and opinions on the parallels between business and sport and covering off topics such as; ‘Leadership’, ‘Overcoming Adversity’, ‘Company Culture’, ‘Innovation’ and ‘Transferring Skills’.
