Touring The Middle East With Chris Gardner

Earlier this month, I accompanied Chris Gardner, the extraordinary businessman and bestselling author of the autobiography, “The Pursuit of Happyness”, on a speaking tour in the Middle East. The book was swiftly made into an acclaimed film under the same title, with Gardner played by the award-winning actor, Will Smith.

Talking at major events in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Chris proved to be phenomenally popular across the region, with his personal story of courage and determination, using his powerful experiences to describe the mindset required to succeed.

Chris‘ talk was entitled “Spiritual Genetics and the Universal Dream”, focusing on how individuals can tap into their own inherent and often unknown potential to propel themselves towards prosperity, success, and ultimately, happiness.

The central tenet to Chris‘ theory is that individuals must find their passion and have “the permission to dream”. He explores several practical steps, underpinned by a ruthless commitment to the plan, and leaves audiences uplifted, empowered and energised to make positive changes in their lives.

His concept of the “Universal Dream” offers the bridge between success and self-belief, which is the key to creating the life you want for yourself. It is not the geographical location, race, gender or DNA that limits you, but the mind and one’s limit in self-belief.
