International Women's Day

Are you Choosing to Challenge, to be the best you can be?

Overview

International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

This day is a reminder we need to close the gap on gender parity. Depending on where we live and where we work, this gap can be marginal or major.

This is also a day to shine a light on the art of possibility, for women and girls to set and seek higher goals and the need to recognise the efforts and merits of ALL people who do equal work.

The theme for IWD in 2021 is ‘Choose to Challenge’ – the speakers below each have found a way to seek out new challenges and to be become the best they can be in their chosen fields.
