The last few days have been a dazzling introduction into the wonders of Hong Kong. Drinks on roof terrace bars watching the night lights over the city switch on, delcious Szechuan cuisine and offices an insane number of floors in the air overlooking Kowloon Bay.

Not least of the pleasures was chatting over coffee at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel with Clark T. Randt, the longest ever serving US Ambassador to China (2001-2009).  You can watch him here speaking on the opportunities and challenges of future Sino-US relations.
