His new book is The Age of Unpeace: How Connectivity Causes Conflict.

Ryan Hass
Ryan is a former adviser to President Obama and is now the Chair in Foreign Policy Studies, the Interim Chair in Taiwan Studies and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
He is a nonresident affiliated fellow in the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School.
His recent book is Stronger: Adapting America’s China Strategy in an Age of Competitive Interdependence.
