His new book is Aftershocks: Pandemic Politics and the End of the Old International Order.

Mark Leonard

Mark is Co-Founder and Director of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a pan European think tank of some current and some former 300 European leaders, including presidents, prime ministers, economics and foreign ministers. 

His expertise and interests include geopolitics and geoeconomics, China and EU politics.

His new book is The Age of Unpeace: How Connectivity Causes Conflict.

Ryan is a former adviser to President Obama and is now the Chair in Foreign Policy Studies, the Interim Chair in Taiwan Studies and a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.

He is a nonresident affiliated fellow in the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School.

His recent book is Stronger: Adapting America’s China Strategy in an Age of Competitive Interdependence.
