Willis Sparks's Biography

Willis Sparks has been a thought leader on risks, opportunities, and trends created by current geopolitical conflicts and political developments in major emerging market countries for many years. He is also a highly sought-after thought leader and keynote speaker on geopolitical risks and their various impacts on business, economies, and societies worldwide. He has spoken at numerous prestigious forums and conferences around the world, imparting his unique insights on current trends and opportunities in major emerging markets, as well as on US politics and foreign policy.

Since 2005, Willis has been a Director in the Global Macro practise at Eurasia Group, the world’s leading political-risk consulting and advisory firm, and he works on several risk initiatives in macropolitical. In addition to his work at Eurasia Group, he is also a Senior Editor for Signal. He previously worked at the Council on Foreign Relations before joining Eurasia Group, where he wrote about international terrorism and US national security.

Willis is a renowned thought leader on risks, opportunities, and trends created by current geopolitical conflicts and political developments in major emerging market countries. His insightful commentary on US politics and foreign policy has won him worldwide acclaim. Willis holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in International Politics, focusing on the former Soviet Union. This master’s complements his degrees from Brown University in Political science and Russian literature. Additionally, Willis is a graduate of Juilliard School and an accomplished stuntman, having served at the Metropolitan Opera.
