Sophie Camu's Biography
Sophie Camu is a leading expert in 19th and 20th Century Western Fine Art.
She spent ten years as a specialist in the Impressionist and Modern Art department at Sotheby’s. She was also Head of Day Sales, generating business, valuing art and supervising annual auctions totalling over $80million.
In 2010, she set up Camu Art Ltd, which represents and advises individuals and corporate clients wishing to create or expand their fine art collections.
Sophie travels the world attending art fairs, auctions and collections on behalf of her clients. In 2014 she has been invited to curate an exhibition The Art of Pastel: Three Centuries of Works on Paper at a prestigious art gallery in St James’s, London. She is a widely respected expert in her field and has an unrivalled knowledge of the international art world and of developing market trends.
