Dr. Rosemary Hollis is an experienced writer and speaker on foreign policy and security issues in the Middle East, particularly European, EU, UK and US relations with the region, and Trans-Atlantic differences over the Middle East policy making. She is currently Professor of Middle East Policy Studies and Director of the Olive Tree Scholarship Programme at City University, London.
From 2005 to 2008, Rosemary was Director of Research at Chatham House (the Royal Institute of International Affairs) in London, where she had overall responsibility for the research and publications output of the institute.
Prior to this, she was Head of the Middle East Programme at Chatham House (1995-2005), having spent five years in a similar post at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies. She has also lectured in Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington, DC.
