Paul Harrison's Biography
Paul Harrison was the Downing Street Press Secretary for two years under Prime Minister Theresa May until she left office. As her spokesman during Brexit negotiations, and at a time of unprecedented turmoil inside and outside Parliament, Paul has a unique perspective on the choices now facing both the government and the country.
Paul visited 27 countries with the Prime Minister, meeting global leaders, providing advice and taking questions from the media on behalf of the Government.
Paul was for the four previous years Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Health — covering then-record investment in the NHS, junior doctors’ strikes and the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. He worked on two general election campaigns, one rather more successful than the other…
