Mike Lander's Biography
Mike Lander is a successful entrepreneur, ex-procurement director, expert negotiator and keynote speaker on procurement and negotiation. He has a proven track record of buying, growing and selling businesses.
Throughout his career, Mike has raised over £6.5m of acquisition/growth capital from the capital markets, has grown companies to over £20m revenue and £4m EBITDA, and has negotiated numerous deals as a buyer, worth over £470m in total.
Mike has worked across several sectors and has deep knowledge in marketing, recruitment, professional services and IT services/tech. He founded a special education needs business, which he subsequently sold, and was appointed as a Managing Partner of one of the UK’s largest Procurement Consultancies. Mike also worked as Procurement Director for a world-leading recruitment outsourcing organisation worth over $1bn. He is now CEO of Piscari, a successful sales negotiation training and coaching business.
Having been both a Procurement Director and an entrepreneur, Mike has a valuably unique perspective on negotiating commercial deals. He continues to work with sales teams to help them secure profitable deals, and is an expert at negotiating with tough procurement professionals.
