Kevin Rolland's Biography
Kevin Rolland is a freestyle skier born in France. Widely considered one of the greatest aerial skiers of all time, he has won multiple medals at the X Games and the World Championships. He is in high demand as a speaker for corporate events and speaking engagements that leaves the audience feeling informed and inspired.
After an unfortunate fall in 2019, Kevin was left with multiple injuries, including fractured ribs and pelvis, contusions to his internal organs and significant head trauma. He was unsure whether he’d be able to ski again but made a successful comeback on the Freeski Halfpipe at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
Kevin has now competed at every Olympic competition since the sport was introduced. He competed on the halfpipe at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
Kevin is a firm favourite at the X Games, having competed multiple times and securing various victories. In 2011, he won the Winter Dew Tour Superpipe Championship and bagged back-to-back golds in the SuperPipe at the Winter X Games and European Winter X Games. He holds seven medals and two medals from both tournaments, respectively.
His first major title win was at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in 2009, where he secured victory on the halfpipe. He was instrumental in creating and developing the epic adventure sports video game Steep with several other athletes and specialists.
