Jessica White's Biography
Jessica White is an Independent Digital Learning Researcher in the fields of Digital Humanities, EdTech, AI, Ethics and Arts Education with Technology where she designs EdTech evaluations and services to understand their impact. She speaks across the globe on AI, Education and Ethics.
She develops content and digital solutions for arts education programs in museums, cultural institutions and foundations. She had initiated, directed and curated a Google Arts and Culture Project. She founded a charity in Austria that brought girls, refugees and young adults back into education through a curriculum reform with Arts Education & EdTech. This was funded by Austrian governments and the EU.
Jessica is the Senior Director of Learning Sciences at Area9, and assesses EdTech products and services through evaluation design. Previously, she was a senior consultant at EDUvation GmbH, where she worked with international EdTech startups interested in bringing products and services to Germany. Jessica has spoken at conferences all around the globe, including her Tedx talk in Vienna and Vodafone Institute in Berlin.
As a researcher, Jessica has collaborated with the Horizon 2020 UCL Educate project as a research mentor, and also with Oxford University on a Human Migration course. Jessica has taught in Japan and Austria, reforming education with more intercultural content. She has successfully curated, designed and implemented the Art Management MBA and Executive MBA at ICCM/SMBS, Austria and Columbia College Chicago.
