Jeremy White's Biography
Jeremy White is a keynote speaker who is currently serving as Senior Innovation Editor of WIRED. He writes and edits WIRED’s coverage, alongside directly consulting with a wide range of businesses delivering an outside perspective on the latest developments and how products might better be designed. Jeremy carefully considers how companies create new products and how effectively and poorly they apply technology, thereby helping them to understand innovative thinking and how best to change their lives and businesses.
Jeremy White also examines the effect that new products will have on businesses. From the embedding of AI in almost every product possible to the future of voice control, quantum computing and the interconnection of everything, Jeremy looks at new innovations and how they are changing established markets via good design, focusing on user experience, and only using technology that is necessary. He speaks about how car manufacturers now consider electronics shows more important than motor shows and how the makers of smart appliances sometimes add connectivity with no real purpose.
Jeremy’s passion is driven by the power of design. He considers the latest breakthroughs in design and what they mean and what an organisation can learn about future threats and opportunities as well as how to improve their own offerings. Jeremy also has responsibility for compiling WIRED’s GEAR product supplements, and the live product showcases at their acclaimed events. Jeremy writes for the Telegraph on all things gadget related and previously worked for the FT and Esquire magazine. He’s also a regular commentator on BBC and Sky and has worked with the Design Museum’s Designs of the Year awards.
