Ivan Fallon is a former editor of the Sunday Times and a best-selling author. He is an expert financial and economic markets speaker.
Ivan Fallon was for many years one of the leading financial journalists in Britain having worked for many of the most popular and read British newspapers.
He was City editor of the Sunday Telegraph and deputy editor and business editor of the Sunday Times, and was twice named Financial Journalist of the Year. He was also CEO of Independent News & Media UK from 2002 until 2010.
Ivan Fallon is also a member of many of the most important journalistic and media based boards in the UK such as iTouch PLC where he was Non-Executive Chairman of the Board from February 15, 2000
His previous books have included the bestsellers Billionaire: The Life and Times of James Goldsmith, The Brothers: The Rise & Rise of Saatchi & Saatchi and The Black Horse Ride: The Inside Story of Lloyds and the Banking Crisis which was nominated for the 2015 Financial Times and Mckinsey Business Book of the year and tells the inside story of what really occurred in the aftermath of the crash of Lehman Brothers, perhaps the worst single day in banking history, when even the mighty Merrill Lynch had to be rescued and HBOS had to be bailed out.
