Dr. Inga Michler is an economist who has since 1998 served a reporter for Die Welt, the leading German daily, first as a financial editor and then as a business reporter. Her writing focuses primarily on major economic trends as well as family businesses in Germany and the strategies they have developed within the framework of globalisation and the international financial crisis. She is also an experienced moderator, chairing large conferences for the paper such as the “Welt-Waehrungskonferenz” and “Weltkonferenz Frauen im Top-Management”.
Inga’s book, “Wirtschaftswunder 2010 – Deutschlands Familienunternehmer erobern die Weltmaerkte”, was published in the autumn of 2009. Her most recent book, “Stiftergeschichten”, was published in 2012.
