Emily Anhalt's Biography
Dr Emily Anhalt is a keynote speaker, psychologist, Emotional Fitness consultant and the Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Coa, the world’s first gym for the mind. Dr Anhalt is dedicated to supporting individuals and organisations in adopting a positive and proactive approach to mental wellness.
Dr Anhalt is a psychoanalytic psychologist and has over a decade’s experience of clinical work with entrepreneurs, executives, founders and tech employees. She has conducted extensive research, alongside prominent psychologists, with a focus on improving mental and emotional fitness for leaders. Emily Anhalt has a thorough understanding of mental and emotional health. Her refreshing approach to the subject is reflective of its complexity and she focuses on long-term solutions based on clinical research.
In 2018, Anhalt co-founded Coa, a gym for mental health, designed for anyone looking to work on their emotional fitness. Coa offers various courses, including those that focus on leadership, mental health and anxiety. Previously, Emily Anhalt worked as a clinician and educator.
Dr Anhalt has collaborated with some of the fastest-growing technology companies and venture capitalist firms to share her expertise on proactive mental health and emotional fitness, including Asana, Bloomberg, Github, Google, NASDAQ, TEDx and Unilever.
Dr Emily Anhalt has Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, California. Prior to that, she attained a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
