Dr. Ellie Cannon, an accomplished NHS General Practitioner hailing from Geordie, has become a familiar and trusted figure in medical journalism and broadcasting. As the regular doctor for the Mail on Sunday and a familiar face on ITV’s This Morning, BBC Breakfast, Sky News, and ITV News, Dr. Ellie has established herself as a leading voice in healthcare communication.
Dr. Ellie is also a well-known radio contributor, often featured on BBC Radio 4, Women’s Hour, and LBC, discussing a wide range of health topics. In 2022, her exceptional contribution to medical journalism was recognized when she was highly commended by the Medical Journalists’ Association for her insightful writing on mental health.
Her literary contributions include “Is Your Job Making You Ill?”, focusing on workplace health issues, and her debut book, “Keep Calm, The New Mum’s Manual,” a guiding light for new parents.
