Danny Ziem's Biography
Danny Ziem is a former Firefighter Paramedic who has transitioned into a role as a Leadership instructor and speaker for Jocko Willink‘s Echelon Front. With over 16 years dedicated to public service, Danny’s experience spans a wide range of roles, including emergency medical services, firefighting, clinical education, technical rescue, honor guard, and serving as a SWAT Medic in a special operations group.
His extensive background provides a unique perspective on leadership in high-stress environments. Danny has guided and trained others in various capacities, such as a Field Training Officer, Preceptor, and Instructor Cadre. His leadership skills were further honed during his time with his special operations group, where he was part of the leadership core. In this role, he played a pivotal part in the successful implementation of Extreme Ownership principles among his team and upper leadership.
Speaker Danny Ziem’s ability to build relationships in multi-agency settings has given him an intimate understanding of the cover and move principle as well as the ability to recognize opportunities for implementation of the other laws of combat leadership.
