Camille Cheng, an Olympic swimmer and motivational speaker, inspires audiences worldwide with her dedication to excellence and resilience. She is a co-founder of Hong Kong based mental health charity, Mind the Waves which aims at destigmatising mental wellbeing among the city’s youth. She speaks about mental toughness, overcoming adversity, and achieving peak performance.

She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of California. Her passion and commitment for swimming started at California University where she became a pivotal member of the Cal Bears swim team. Under the guidance of esteemed coaches, Camille honed her skills and set multiple records, showcasing her prowess in freestyle swimming. From there, she rose through the ranks to become one of Hong Kong’s leading swimmers.

Cheng has competed in major international tournaments, including the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. She is set to also compete at 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Camille represented Hong Kong with distinction, competing in the 100 metre freestyle, 200-meter freestyle and the 4 x 100-meter medley relay among others.
