Brad Sherwood's Biography
Brad Sherwood is a writer, actor, comedian, and game show presenter. He has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years and has worked on stage, screen and television. Bradley is an experienced public speaker who has given speeches and keynote addresses worldwide. He is a warm and engaging presenter who always leaves his audiences entertained and informed.
Brad is one-half of the improv group Colin & Brad alongside his former Whose Line? co-star Colin Mochrie. The duo began touring in 2002, hosting the improv show An Evening With Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood in 2003 and releasing the Colin & Brad: Two Man Group DVD in 2011. They have since gone on to perform their much-loved Scared Scriptless! show for adulating crowds at prominent venues such as the Sydney Opera House and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Brad is perhaps best known for his work on the Emmy-nominated Whose Line Is It Anyway?, appearing on the UK version for three seasons and eighteen seasons on the US version until the finale in 2006. Whose Line? was revived in 2013, and Brad has been invited for a few guest appearances. As a staple in the entertainment industry, Brad has been involved with several hosting presentations, including The Big Moment (1999) and The Dating Game (1996 – 1997). He appeared as a guest host on Talk Soup and has been a frequent panellist on Chelsea Lately, Hollywood Squares, To Tell The Truth, and Jury Duty.
He is also a regular guest on Drew Carrey’s various shows, including The Drew Carey Show sitcom, Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza and Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show. Brad is also a VH-1 regular who often appears on their various syndicated shows such as 100 One-Hit Wonders of The 80s, I Love The 70s, I Love The 80s, and I Love The 90s.
His career in improvisational comedy began in 1994 when he landed a role on the sketch-comedy show The Newz, a significant shift from his recurring role on LA Law.
