Beth Rigby's Biography
Beth Rigby is an award-winning journalist and political editor with a brilliant track record, known for her work on Sky News, Financial Times and The Times. She is a sought after speaker in political and economic keynote addresses.
She is currently a political editor for Sky News, responsible for bringing TV viewers Westminster’s latest news and analysis. Prior to that, she had occupied the Deputy Political Editor (2018-19) position, replacing Faisal Islam, who has moved to BBC News as an economics editor and Senior Political Correspondent (2016-18) position at Sky News. She also served as a Media Editor (2015-16) at The Times, Deputy Political Editor (2012-15), Chief Political Editor (2010-12), Consumer Industries Editor (2008-10), Retail Correspondent (2004-08), Hedge Fund Correspondent (2001-04) and Graduate Trainee (1998-01) at the Financial Times. With her many years of experience, Rigby has seen it all: from interviewing politicians to being at the forefront of breaking news stories as they happen.
Beth has interviewed some of the biggest names in British politics, including Theresa May and Tony Blair, as well as breaking news on cabinet reshuffles, divorces, and the Brexit turmoil.
