Beth Myers's Biography
Beth Myers is a political consultant and campaign advisor with over three decades’ experience in American politics. She is one of the Republican Party’s leading strategists and most trusted authorities on the political dynamics on Capitol Hill and in the state capitols.
Most recently, Beth has been a highly influential figure in Mitt Romney’s political career. As his closest political advisor, she served as Romney’s Chief of Staff during his governorship in Massachusetts, his Campaign Manager during his bid for the Republican nomination for the 2008 Presidential race, and Senior Campaign Advisor for the Romney/Ryan 2012 campaign, tasked with leading the VP selection and preparing Governor Romney for his debates with President Obama.
Beth currently is a partner in a strategy consulting firm, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, as Co-chair of the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Working Group on Presidential General Election Debates. She recently completed a term as a Fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics, and will be a Visiting Fellow at the University of Chicagon IOP in 2014.
