Ben Elliot set up Quintessentially in 2000 the luxury lifestyle and concierge service for A-list clients. Over the last decade the business has grown to employ over 2000 people across 64 offices worldwide and incorporates 32 sister businesses specialising in travel, gifts, wine, art, real estate, private aviation, flowers, education and a range of other high end services.
Quintessentially made a name for itself with an ‘above and beyond’ approach to client service, famously sourcing grand gestures such as white peacocks for a Jennifer Lopez party and organising romantic private dining on floating icebergs. Since then, Ben has developed this talent and expertise at sourcing hard-to-find luxuries into a reliable network to protect clients against unforeseen emergencies. During the 2011 Japanese tsunami Quintessentially was able to provide Geiger counters, source still operational petrol stations and even ensure their clients had places on heavily limited flights from the country.
For these services Quintessentially has been a regular recipient of industry awards including: Condé Nast Traveller Awards: Operator of the Year 2006; World Travel Awards: Europe’s Leading Luxury Lifestyle Club 2009; and LuXplosion 2010 (The Luxury Hub): Luxury Concierge Award 2010.
