Afua Hagan is a prominent and charismatic News Anchor, Commentator, and Journalist with extensive experience across major networks including Channel 5, CNN, the BBC, Sky, and presently CNBC and Africa Works Media. An expert speaker on a myriad of subjects including diversity, inclusion, Black Lives Matter, confidence, and adversity, she has been increasingly sought after as a keynote speaker, moderator, and host at corporate events. Afua’s broad experience in broadcasting combined with her passion for pertinent social issues makes her an engaging, insightful speaker on these topics.
Afua’s dynamic career in journalism and broadcasting began after she obtained her degree in journalism from City University London. She initially launched her career as a Fashion Co-Ordinator for AIA, later stepping into the media industry as an Editor for Blackhair Magazine. Afua’s success was marked by her swift progression to become a Freelance Features Editor for Pride Magazine and Freelancer for The Daily Mail International, earning her early recognition in the field.
Afua’s diverse portfolio spans different facets of media. She has been a presenter for ABN TV and The Beat London, Editor in Chief of Glam Africa Magazine, and a commentator on the British Royal Family for various UK and international outlets.
