Aditya Gupta's Biography
Aditya Gupta is a security expert in the field of Mobile and Internet of Things (IoT). He is the founder of Attify, the leading global security provider that helps businesses secure their in IoT, mobile, big data, digital assets and infrastructure security.
Aditya has delivered numerous talks at security conferences including BlackHat, DEF CON, Syscan, OWASP AppSec, Toorcon, Brucon, HackInParis, phDays, ClubHack and many more. He speaks about his research findings and gives corporate trainings on Mobile Security for Android, iOS and ARM Platform. He is also the author of the popular mobile security book, “Learning Pentesting for Android Devices” (2014), “IoT Penetration Testing Cookbook” (2017), and IoT Security Book, “IoT Hacker’s Handbook” (2019).
As the founder of Attify, he emphasises on the importance of a motivated team, and their educational and professional background. Attify’s priority is to ensure their mobile application remains secure. He offers training courses in Offensive Internet of Things Exploitation and Advanced Android and iOS Hands-On Exploitation.
Prior to Attify, he worked in rediff.com, as a Security Engineer handling their web application security. Aditya graduated from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, finishing with a Bachelor’s degree in Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication. He became involved with many security projects in his second year and began to actively learn things on Web Security. This led him to mobile security in 2010. He also began teaching security teams about Mobile Security.
