Sir Nigel Sheinwald GCMG is one of the UK’s most experienced diplomats. He was British Ambassador to the United States from 2007 to 2012 and previously Prime Minister Tony Blair’s Foreign Policy and Defence Advisor. Sir Nigel will be in conversation with Justin Webb, the Today Programme the BBC’s North America Editor, Justin Webb lived in Washington DC from 2001 until 2009. Sir Nigel and Justin will share their expert insights and analysis of the election result and its consequences.
