In a Senate race that many Republicans had started to write off, Scott Brown, the former Massachusetts senator, appears to have pulled even with Democratic incumbent Jeanne Shaheen. Check out the full analysis below from the Wall Street Journal’s Political Diary Editor Jason Riley.

Jason argues that “New Hampshire is another example of Republicans fielding better candidates than in the last midterm cycle. Mr. Brown is a GOP moderate, to be sure, but he’s given the party a shot at picking up a seat that could mean the difference between Republican control of the Senate and two more years with Harry Reid at the helm.”
