Russell Napier sees long term value in European equities

“Permabear” Russell Napier, the respected analyst and author of Anatomy of the Bear, Lessons from Wall Street’s four great bottoms (Harriman House, 2009), sees a long term (10 year) buy opportunity in Europe, where equities are “very cheap”, whatever happens to the Eurozone over the next twelve months. Talking to the FT’s editor James Mckintosh, he says “if you can find good companies you should buy them in their most distressed areas”, Greece included.
