Interesting piece this morning by FT Washington Correspondent Richard McGregor – he worries that strident partisan politics in the US is denting American economic credibility, and that the White House, and the Democrats and Republicans in Congress will all enter next month’s budgetary debates in “a sour, distrustful mood, with no good-will having accrued from the fiscal cliff agreement”.
