Leading From The Front (Military Speakers)
As the annual Remembrance Sunday in the UK and Veterans Day in the US has thrown the nations’ militaries into the spotlight, Chartwell is delighted to announce that we are exclusively representing two of these countries finest military leaders.
General Kenneth “Frank” Mackenzie Jr, former Commander of the United States’ Central Command, served 43 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, rising to one of the most senior positions in the US Military, responsible for all Operations in the Middle East and Central Asia. He is now Executive Director of the University of South Florida’s Global and Security Institute and is Executive Director of the Florida Center for Cybersecurity.
General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith was the youngest ever professional head of the British Army, until his retirement in 2022. A highly distinguished former Special Forces officer, he has led on Operations around the world, spanning a 40 year career. He is currently serving as a member of the England Rugby mentoring team, preparing the Squad for the 2023 World Cup.
Experts on strategic leadership, conflict resolution and diplomacy, General’s Mackenzie and Carleton-Smith are both superbly placed to discuss the global geopolitical landscape, with particular focus on the Ukraine War, NATO and the likely outcomes for 2023.
