Great to have social physics expert, Mark Buchanan update us on his recent activity, seems he’s having a busy 2013 so far! Mark spoke at the Global-Arc meeting in Singapore in February and a few weeks ago he presented his ideas on how nonlinear dynamics and complex systems relate to finance and socionomics at the annual meeting of the Socionomics Institute in Atlanta.

Look out for Mark over the coming months – in May he is part of a Nesta organised panel and he has also been invited to speak at the Oxford Institute of Physics, the York Festival of Ideas on prospects for growth in the UK and at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
