The Financial Times’ wine correspondent and world-famous wine critic, Jancis Robinson has won a coveted James Beard 2013 Award.  She won ‘best beverage book’ for ‘Wine Grapes’ (Allen Lane, 2012) the comprehensive grape guide detailing 1,368 vine varieties, that she co-wrote with Julia Harding and José Vouillamo.

The book, praised by the Guardian Observer food monthly for being “authoritative, without ever feeling dusty or dry” and Daily Wine News as “breathtaking in its scope” has won numerous other awards.
