Ali Tabrizi is a self-taught Cinematographer, Founder of Disrupt Studios and Director of the groundbreaking Netflix documentary, ‘Seaspiracy’,that is currently dominating conversations worldwide.

In the film, Tabrizi investigates the fishing industry as the leading threat to our ocean. He exposes a number of issues, ranging from the disposal of plastic trash such as fishing nets and the harm caused to marine animals as ‘bycatch’, to accusations of slavery and corruption within the fishing industry, NGOs and governments.

Ali has received widespread praise for this film, which quickly climbed to Netflix’s Top Ten most popular films across the globe, following its release in March 2021.

Seaspiracy is Ali’s passion project and has catapulted him into the centre of discussions and debates around sustainability and conservation. He has become a figurehead for the Ocean Conservation and Plant Based movement and is a popular keynote speaker on sustainability, human rights and animal welfare.
