International Women's Day 2020 + TEDWomen 2019
TEDWOMEN + INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
In celebration of International Women’s Day on the 8th March, Chartwell are delighted to announce the release of our exclusive speaker, Jennifer Zhu Scott, and Renée Lertzman’s TEDWomen videos.
In December 2019, I was fortunate enough to attend the TED Women Conference 2019: Bold + Brilliant, in Palm Springs, California. Alongside seeing Jennifer Zhu Scott and Renée Lertzman, there were a number of other inspirational women speaking there. Please see my blog to read more.
In this insightful talk, leading technologist expert in artificial intelligence, blockchain, data ownership, and exclusive speaker, Jennifer Zhu Scott explains why we should get paid for our data. If individuals had pricing power over their own data, this could reduce inequality by empowering people, instead of businesses that thrive off collecting data.
In Renée’s engaging speech, she reminds us that our emotional well-being is crucial in the fight against climate change. She discusses the emotional impact climate change has on individuals, and equips the audience with a toolkit to handle climate grief whilst taking action.
