Daniel Finkelstein describes the Eurozone as a "burning building with no exits"
I dropped by the offices of News International yesterday to interview Executive Editor of the The Times Daniel Finkelstein. He shared his thoughts on the eurozone crisis, Britain’s economy and the future of the coalition. The main problem facing Britain: we don’t have any money.
Daniel also noted that when he and George Osborne were speechwriters for William Hague, they warned the Euro would be “a burning building with no exits”. Widely criticised at the time as the “Boulevards of Blood” speech, Danny noted the irony of the current Chancellor now having to deal with the very problems he’d warned against.
