In a brilliantly written article in The Times today, Daniel Finkelstein describes what Chechnya’s war of independence against Russia has to do with the recent Boston attack. “Nothing and everything” he states. Linking Chechnya’s ‘Holy War’ with Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Danny warns about the rise of extremists and the consequences for Syria – “If the West doesn’t act, others will. And we can’t be insulated from the consequences.”
