editor at Chartwell Speakers

Here at Chartwell, we are asking some of our most influential speakers to give us their thoughts on the current crisis and what the world might look like afterwards. The Chartwell Bites series will feature short videos from experts spanning various industries and disciplines.

We are delighted to begin the series with the influential economist, Jim O’Neill. Jim is perhaps best known as the creator of the BRICS acronym. He has written several books on the topic, as well as making a documentary for the BBC entitled ‘MINT: The Next Economic Giants’. Jim is also a policy adviser and was formerly Commercial Secretary to the Treasury in the UK government. During this time, he chaired a formal review into antimicrobial resistance and has been a high-profile campaginer on this topic since.

We hope you enjoy Jim’s interview below:

Jim O’Neill speaks exclusively to Chartwell.
