Scientist and aviator, Bertrand Piccard is a pioneer of sustainable energy technology. Together with André Borschberg, he has invented the world’s first solar powered airplane that can fly day and night without fuel. Ten years in the making, ‘Solar Impulse’ is now an ambassador for clean technology and the two scientists are flying it across the US to educate and encourage governments, CEOs, and other decision-makers to deploy clean technologies.

As they stop off at five major cities across the country, Bertrand and André present a ‘Clean Generation’ flag to the highest possible authority there. The scientists are asking for support from the public to spread their message by forwarding on email information and becoming friends with their project on facebook.

They are currently in Phoenix, after leaving from Moffett Field in California, their next four stops are Dallas, St. Louis, Washington D.C., and New York City.
