This year’s AdAsia 2011 conference, to be hosted in New Delhi, India from 31 October to 3 November, will feature as keynote speakers some of the world’s most influential business personalities and marketing experts.

The high-profile list of speakers so far includes leading figures in the world of advertising. Robert Senior, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi UK, will address the conference alongside Michael I. Roth, the Chairman and CEO of Interpublic, one of the world’s largest advertising and marketing services organisations.

Other speakers at this year’s event include Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, and Joseph Tripodi, who is Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer at The Coca-Cola Company.

Legendary British ad executive David Ogilvy was a speaker at AdAsia in 1982

AdAsia returns to India after eight years. In 2003, the AdAsia congress was hosted in Jaipur and was widely regarded as a landmark in the history of the Congress. Previous keynote speakers have included Rajat Gupta (former Managing Director of McKinsey & Company) and Martin Sorrell (Head-WPP Group). The event gained worldwide notoriety after David Ogilvy put aside his fear of flying to be part of the conference in New Delhi (1982) where he delivered the now prophetic address of the ‘Western Hare and Asian Tortoise.’
