While at Tinder, Herd was vice president of marketing and has been credited with fueling the apps’ popularity on college campuses and growing its user base. Wolfe left the company in 2014 due in part to growing tensions with other company executives. After leaving the company, she filed a lawsuit against Tinder for sexual harassment and reportedly received a more than $1 million settlement in addition to stock in the company.
Bumble was founded in 2014 and by December 2015, the app had reached over 15 million unique conversations and 80 million matches.
