Nick Timothy is a British political adviser, best known for his position as joint Chief of Staff for Prime Minister Theresa May.
A Politics graduate from the University of Sheffield, Nick has been heavily involved in British politics since he began working for the CRD (Conservative Research Department) in 2001. He served as Theresa May’s special adviser in the Home Office between 2010 and 2015.
Shortly after David Cameron’s resignation in the wake of the 2016 referendum, Timothy ran Theresa May’s campaign team and was appointed as her joint chief of staff in July 2016.
As May’s close adviser, a significant figure in the Conservative Party for over a decade, and only having recently left this political inner circle, Nick offers a fascinating insight into current British politics.
From August 2017, Nick will be writing a weekly column for the Daily Telegraph.
