Jonny Combe is a self-confessed car nut whose first venture into the automotive business was at the age of 14, cleaning neighbours’ cars in rural Scotland for a fee. While studying marketing in Stirling, he bought and sold cars to supplement his income as a student and then joined the BMW Group in 2006 as a graduate.
Since then he has worked in various roles within BMW, latterly working within BMW’s Financial Services organisation leading their Digital and Innovation Programmes in the UK. This included the birth of “BMW Innovation Lab” and “The Intrapreneur Lab”, the first of their kind within the Automotive Finance industry.
He’s passionate about innovation, challenging organisational culture, finding creative ways to do new and exciting things within the, often, rigid confines of a large corporation, and ‘shooting hippos’. He is an engaging and charismatic speaker who will energise your audiences with his fun yet insightful learnings.
Jonny is comfortable speaking at conferences or smaller, more intimate settings where he willingly engages with participants.
