John Howard was the Prime Minister of Australia who managed to halve unemployment and grow average earnings by 24.4% during his term. He is also the second longest serving Prime Minister of Australia.

He was a forthright and successful statesman and was awarded the Star of the Solomon Islands for his role in restoring law and order there. He was also instrumental in organising the Australian peacekeeping efforts in East Timor and her $1 billion relief effort following the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004.

John was awarded the Irving Kistol award for his contributions to public welfare and Centenary Medal from the Australian government.

He is the author of “Lazarus Rising: A Personal and Political Autobiography” which was released in 2010.
