Gina Miller is a British Businesswoman who was at the forefront of the 2016 court case against the UK government over its authority to go ahead with Brexit without input from Parliament.
Born the daughter of diplomats in British Guiana, she studied in London gaining a degree in marketing, and an MSc in human resource management at the University of London.
Miller then went on to dedicate herself to marketing working for BMW and then for herself as a marketing consultant from 2006.
In 2009 Miller set up her own company now called the ‘True and Fair Foundation’, a philanthropic investment company designed to aid charities and those less fortunate than herself through large companies financial donations.
In light of the EU referendum in 2016 that lead to Brexit, Miller with the aid of law firm Mishcon de Reya legally challenged the UK government on their right to invoke Article 50 of The European Union treaty considering that had not formally consulted the British Parliament.
With years of marketing and consulting experience but also the ability to engage in political challenges Miller is an exemplary figure in current British business.
