We are living in an age of the mobile platform. A huge percentage of e-commerce and traffic now flows via mobile devices; companies such as Google, Twitter, Facebook, Pandora, and eBay find that over 50% of users utilise their services on a smart phone.
Josh Brewer, mentor at Designer Fund and former Principal Designer at Twitter, argues that if you’re not designing products that perform across a range of devices, then it will be very difficult for your company to stay at the forefront in creating products that will be used by the millions of people using mobile technology.
