Darnell Moore Hosts Mic.com’s New Digital Series ‘The Movement’

Chartwell exclusive, Darnell Moore is the host of “The Movement,” a groundbreaking new Web series from Mic.com. The first season highlights regular people working on remarkable solutions to America’s social ills.

Darnell Moore explains, “Rather than solely and overly focusing on the social, political and economic concerns plaguing these communities, we’ve chosen to focus on the work of the unsung heroes who are working to bring an end to systemic inequity and injustice across the country. The people and groups we cover are change agents tackling big issues in real time — sometimes with sparse resources — without the benefit of large social media followings, public recognition and large platforms.”

Darnell is a senior correspondent at MicNews, and Co-Managing Editor/Partner at The Feminist Wire. He is an activist on marginal identity, youth development, intersectionality and other social justice issues in the US and abroad.
